We're back at it again with some 3 00:00:21,400 --> 00:00:27,680 actual Z&D, back into some Baldings gates, yes, descent 4 00:00:27,680 --> 00:00:30,960 into Arvarnus. Arvarnus. 5 00:00:30,960 --> 00:00:35,640 I just learned how to read last week, so go ahead and take her 6 00:00:35,640 --> 00:00:38,960 away, Sam. I would like to start us off 7 00:00:38,960 --> 00:00:41,760 with a very quick recap of everything that's gone on so 8 00:00:41,760 --> 00:00:44,280 far. So big murder conspiracy happens 9 00:00:44,280 --> 00:00:48,000 and the party finds themselves running away from the law. 10 00:00:48,000 --> 00:00:51,040 A strange benefactor that has been watching them the entire 11 00:00:51,040 --> 00:00:55,000 time sent them a letter instructing them to go see 12 00:00:55,000 --> 00:00:58,440 Captain Zodge of the Flaming Fist and that he had a test for 13 00:00:58,440 --> 00:00:59,680 them that would clear their name. 14 00:00:59,840 --> 00:01:03,360 This got them involved with a whole nother conspiracy 15 00:01:03,360 --> 00:01:06,720 involving the Cult of the Dead 3. 16 00:01:07,480 --> 00:01:13,400 They apparently were responsible for a big murder spree that was 17 00:01:13,600 --> 00:01:15,000 running rampant throughout the city. 18 00:01:15,200 --> 00:01:17,680 The Flaming Fist, however, could not deal with this themselves 19 00:01:17,680 --> 00:01:20,480 because they had their hands tied with a new influx of 20 00:01:20,480 --> 00:01:24,800 refugees from the city of El Terrell, a city which had been 21 00:01:25,520 --> 00:01:29,720 pulled into Everness for reasons unknown and no longer exist, and 22 00:01:29,720 --> 00:01:31,960 just as a giant crater in the earth. 23 00:01:34,080 --> 00:01:40,480 Upon investigating at the Dead 3 Cultists, you guys managed to 24 00:01:40,480 --> 00:01:46,440 come across Domique Van Thamper, one of the sons of the esteemed 25 00:01:46,440 --> 00:01:50,920 Van Thamper family. After the talking with him a 26 00:01:50,920 --> 00:01:54,960 little bit, he explains that his brothers, because you do find 27 00:01:54,960 --> 00:01:58,000 him fighting off an assassin, his brothers tried to kill him. 28 00:01:58,200 --> 00:02:01,600 He also explains how his family is involved with yet another 29 00:02:01,600 --> 00:02:07,680 conspiracy involving the leader of El Terrell, Fabius Krieg, who 30 00:02:08,639 --> 00:02:11,640 had something to do with the city being pulled under. 31 00:02:11,680 --> 00:02:16,760 The city of El Terrell, that is, And now this Thavius Krieg is 32 00:02:17,840 --> 00:02:23,440 he, as he informs you, is finding refuge with his mother. 33 00:02:24,080 --> 00:02:26,800 What was her name? Thamela Van Thamper or something 34 00:02:26,800 --> 00:02:28,280 like that, I believe. What's up? 35 00:02:28,880 --> 00:02:32,120 Thamera? I think Thamela Thamera. 36 00:02:32,400 --> 00:02:33,640 It's something along those lines. 37 00:02:33,640 --> 00:02:35,800 I'm trying to remember, but it's something along those lines. 38 00:02:35,800 --> 00:02:38,400 We'll, we'll, I'll come across later in the text, I'll correct 39 00:02:38,400 --> 00:02:41,480 myself. But basically Thavius Krieg is 40 00:02:41,560 --> 00:02:45,480 sort of like, you know, bunked up with her, so to speak. 41 00:02:45,480 --> 00:02:49,680 And they're, they're bunk mates. They were roommates. 42 00:02:50,560 --> 00:02:58,560 Spicy. Yeah, very spicy, but but 43 00:02:59,080 --> 00:03:04,320 apparently his mother is also trying to, for one reason or 44 00:03:04,320 --> 00:03:07,520 another, get Baldur's Gate to suffer the same fate as Altar L 45 00:03:07,800 --> 00:03:10,120 This is something which you decided to investigate. 46 00:03:10,120 --> 00:03:12,640 You wanted to sort of confirm those allegations with his 47 00:03:12,640 --> 00:03:14,480 brother Americk and question him. 48 00:03:14,920 --> 00:03:19,440 However, that meeting did not go so friendly and upon visiting 49 00:03:19,440 --> 00:03:23,480 him where he works at the last light in, you guys decided that 50 00:03:23,480 --> 00:03:26,440 you were going to kidnap him. So you guys you guys put him 51 00:03:26,440 --> 00:03:30,000 through the ringer and you decided to take him along to 52 00:03:30,320 --> 00:03:33,600 basically have him show you like get you into the upper city so 53 00:03:33,600 --> 00:03:37,560 that you guys can confront his mother about the the things that 54 00:03:37,560 --> 00:03:43,440 she is involved in. So upon leaving the low Lantern, 55 00:03:43,440 --> 00:03:48,520 you are just crossing the plank because the low Lantern is a, 56 00:03:48,600 --> 00:03:50,760 you know, old repurposed ship. So it's still kind of like 57 00:03:50,760 --> 00:03:52,000 docked. It doesn't really go anywhere, 58 00:03:52,000 --> 00:03:56,960 obviously, but you walk that that that plank bridge thing 59 00:03:56,960 --> 00:04:02,320 down back to the land, and as you are getting ready to walk up 60 00:04:02,320 --> 00:04:05,840 the street towards the upper city, a cloaked figure 61 00:04:05,840 --> 00:04:08,240 approaches, armor clanking with each step. 62 00:04:08,400 --> 00:04:11,880 One gloved hand rests on the hilt of a long sword, and the 63 00:04:11,880 --> 00:04:15,040 other pulls back a cowl to reveal the face of a teenager. 64 00:04:15,720 --> 00:04:17,920 Not actually a teenager, she's like 29, but whatever. 65 00:04:20,200 --> 00:04:25,160 With with light brown skin, red hair and a haunting gaze. 66 00:04:25,520 --> 00:04:27,000 And that is where we will pick up. 67 00:04:27,000 --> 00:04:31,160 So she approaches sexy. She approaches you guys. 68 00:04:31,640 --> 00:04:34,800 Hell travelers, I see you out this fine night. 69 00:04:35,440 --> 00:04:39,040 Just spreading the spreading the good Lord, Good word of the 70 00:04:39,040 --> 00:04:39,640 Lord. How? 71 00:04:40,360 --> 00:04:44,360 Do you know us? I don't know you, sorry if I 72 00:04:44,360 --> 00:04:48,320 gave off that impression. I was just traveling by do you 73 00:04:48,320 --> 00:04:51,160 know? Just carrying this keg. 74 00:04:52,440 --> 00:04:54,640 Do you know do you know of an Americk? 75 00:04:54,640 --> 00:04:57,040 Suspicious. Do you know of an Americk Van 76 00:04:57,040 --> 00:04:59,760 tamper? I I I was coming along here to 77 00:04:59,760 --> 00:05:01,920 last like to visit him. I don't suppose you are A lot 78 00:05:01,920 --> 00:05:04,120 have met with him on the inside out. 79 00:05:04,120 --> 00:05:06,120 Yeah, yeah, I think he went home for the night. 80 00:05:06,400 --> 00:05:08,680 Yeah, I've never heard of a fella before. 81 00:05:08,760 --> 00:05:10,320 You just missed him. I I saw him. 82 00:05:10,320 --> 00:05:12,200 He was a loan shark, right? Yeah. 83 00:05:13,440 --> 00:05:14,840 Right. Well, I'm not really sure what 84 00:05:14,840 --> 00:05:17,880 his occupation is, but I had some questions I wanted to ask 85 00:05:17,880 --> 00:05:24,920 him at, you know, not to get too, too trauma dumpy, but I 86 00:05:24,920 --> 00:05:28,520 think he has something to do with or the fan tamper family in 87 00:05:28,520 --> 00:05:31,000 general has something to do with L2L and it's falling. 88 00:05:31,000 --> 00:05:33,640 And I, I just wanted to, you know, investigate some of those 89 00:05:33,640 --> 00:05:39,360 claims and ask some questions. So kind of official, so why 90 00:05:39,360 --> 00:05:41,400 would you? It might be closer than you 91 00:05:41,400 --> 00:05:45,200 think. She's right here. 92 00:05:45,920 --> 00:05:48,000 Yeah. That's kind of that Spigot's not 93 00:05:48,000 --> 00:05:51,680 a spigot. She pulls like on the side of 94 00:05:51,680 --> 00:05:54,200 her cloak, revealing a badge on her chest. 95 00:05:54,200 --> 00:06:00,520 The badge of the Hell Riders. Actually, Hell Riders, which 96 00:06:00,520 --> 00:06:07,160 were a part of the the Hell Riders were a part of the army 97 00:06:07,160 --> 00:06:10,320 that went down into a Vernus to basically try and end the blood 98 00:06:10,320 --> 00:06:15,200 war that's happening down there. They were led by the Archangel 99 00:06:15,200 --> 00:06:19,600 Zariel in that fight. However it ended up going very 100 00:06:19,600 --> 00:06:23,920 poorly and they ended up a few of the flaming flaming fists. 101 00:06:23,920 --> 00:06:26,400 A few of the Hell Riders ended up returning. 102 00:06:26,400 --> 00:06:29,080 Quite a lot of them actually ended up returning and Czario 103 00:06:29,080 --> 00:06:34,160 ended up trapped in advertise as a result of that, but. 104 00:06:35,720 --> 00:06:38,960 My parents were hell riders. But it's strange to see a Hell 105 00:06:38,960 --> 00:06:43,240 Rider in Baldur's Gate because especially considering most of 106 00:06:43,240 --> 00:06:45,680 them presided with an El Terrell essentially doing what the 107 00:06:45,680 --> 00:06:47,160 Flaming Fists do for Baldur's Gate. 108 00:06:47,840 --> 00:06:50,400 And since El Terrell was pulled under, it's strange to see a, 109 00:06:50,680 --> 00:06:53,360 you know, a Yeah, Hall Rider outside of that. 110 00:06:54,160 --> 00:06:55,400 But she explains to you, she says. 111 00:06:56,160 --> 00:06:59,840 I watched from the outskirts of the city where I was posted as 112 00:06:59,840 --> 00:07:01,960 the city was dragged down into a Vernus. 113 00:07:03,000 --> 00:07:08,400 I tried to return as quickly as I could in hopes of helping 114 00:07:08,840 --> 00:07:11,840 anyone left that I could, but the city was just a crater. 115 00:07:12,040 --> 00:07:17,000 Only a small group of refugees was what I could round up. 116 00:07:17,600 --> 00:07:20,080 I've LED them here since and well found. 117 00:07:20,080 --> 00:07:23,560 This city is just a rat infested thieves then. 118 00:07:23,560 --> 00:07:29,040 But it seems that Tavius Krieg, the leader of El Terrell, has 119 00:07:29,040 --> 00:07:31,680 been spotted in the area, especially with the van tampers. 120 00:07:32,320 --> 00:07:34,640 That's what I've come to investigate. 121 00:07:35,400 --> 00:07:37,920 Melbourne, I think she can help. Why don't you show her the 122 00:07:37,920 --> 00:07:42,920 thing? Yeah, the thing, yeah, which one 123 00:07:42,920 --> 00:07:45,920 of the things I've got. You know the the keg. 124 00:07:47,720 --> 00:07:49,520 You can. Show her that it's not really a 125 00:07:49,520 --> 00:07:50,720 keg. No, I got. 126 00:07:50,840 --> 00:07:51,680 You can put a. Keg. 127 00:07:52,720 --> 00:07:55,280 The same thing I I thought he was carrying a keg. 128 00:07:57,320 --> 00:08:01,920 Yeah, I think this is actually Hamrick van Jampur. 129 00:08:02,720 --> 00:08:08,960 That's a keg. Jeez, back with singing Wait and 130 00:08:09,000 --> 00:08:11,720 the wish song and. I think she can help guys. 131 00:08:12,120 --> 00:08:15,360 Wait, are you? Are you telling me Americk is in 132 00:08:15,360 --> 00:08:16,760 that? Yeah. 133 00:08:16,840 --> 00:08:18,320 No, he's not. Yeah, something. 134 00:08:18,600 --> 00:08:21,240 Something like that. He's sang a little song and he 135 00:08:21,240 --> 00:08:24,840 and he made it look like a cake, but I'm actually carrying an 136 00:08:24,840 --> 00:08:28,960 actual live person. You can now see Mr. Van Pamper. 137 00:08:30,800 --> 00:08:35,600 So wait, so then what? What exactly is going on here? 138 00:08:36,039 --> 00:08:38,960 I'm quite. I put my friends behind me and I 139 00:08:38,960 --> 00:08:41,840 unsheathed my great sword. No, don't. 140 00:08:42,559 --> 00:08:45,160 Do that. You got. 141 00:08:46,320 --> 00:08:50,600 To get through me. Brother, brother, Brother Billy. 142 00:08:50,600 --> 00:08:53,160 Yeah. We gotta kidnap the little lady. 143 00:08:53,480 --> 00:08:57,920 She tightens her grip on the hilt of her long sword and kind 144 00:08:57,920 --> 00:09:02,600 of gives you like a questioning squint, like squinty look, like 145 00:09:02,600 --> 00:09:06,840 suspicious kind of look. I'm not here to fight you, but 146 00:09:06,840 --> 00:09:08,960 if he gets in my way, I promise it won't be. 147 00:09:08,960 --> 00:09:11,360 Pretty lady, she's. Probably way more. 148 00:09:11,920 --> 00:09:13,640 She's probably way more leveled than us. 149 00:09:14,080 --> 00:09:15,960 More than likely, we're kind. Of on a. 150 00:09:16,720 --> 00:09:18,760 I'm afraid to get beat up by a hot chick. 151 00:09:19,440 --> 00:09:23,960 Come on. His teeth, she loosens her the 152 00:09:23,960 --> 00:09:25,320 grip on her health that looks at you. 153 00:09:25,320 --> 00:09:29,040 Oh, I see. So you're just looking for a 154 00:09:29,040 --> 00:09:30,440 fight? No. 155 00:09:30,760 --> 00:09:32,040 No, no, no. I. 156 00:09:32,040 --> 00:09:34,600 Don't think he's looking for a fight per SE. 157 00:09:34,960 --> 00:09:39,000 Anyways, if you don't mind, I'd quite like to know what's going 158 00:09:39,000 --> 00:09:41,000 on here. We. 159 00:09:41,000 --> 00:09:43,400 Kind of got a thing. What secret thing? 160 00:09:44,360 --> 00:09:47,120 The van tampers. The van tampers have a 161 00:09:47,120 --> 00:09:49,680 conspiracy. And we're thinking that the, 162 00:09:50,360 --> 00:09:51,920 what's her name? Madeleine. 163 00:09:52,520 --> 00:09:56,880 Madeleine Albright. Yeah, Madeleine Albright, the 164 00:09:56,920 --> 00:10:03,160 mother Tamara Damara, wants to overthrow Baldur's Gate and have 165 00:10:03,160 --> 00:10:06,400 the Flaming Fist turn on him. Yeah, you want to overthrow the 166 00:10:06,400 --> 00:10:08,640 Duke, so where? So I may have promised that 167 00:10:08,640 --> 00:10:13,280 don't meek their brother to to to stop him so that Paul is gay 168 00:10:13,280 --> 00:10:16,680 doesn't suffer the same fate. By the by the way, I I was 169 00:10:16,680 --> 00:10:19,840 looking at it's Thalamra. Sorry, Thalamra. 170 00:10:19,840 --> 00:10:22,600 Van Amber, Yeah, that's an easy name for me to remember. 171 00:10:22,800 --> 00:10:24,760 Yeah. Ashley Madison's name really 172 00:10:24,760 --> 00:10:27,160 isn't we'll. Call her the wait. 173 00:10:27,480 --> 00:10:30,360 Yeah, juicy. So I've heard much of the same 174 00:10:30,360 --> 00:10:31,440 thing. So I'm. 175 00:10:31,960 --> 00:10:36,280 Wait, so then you've come to see Emerick to Yeah, question about 176 00:10:36,280 --> 00:10:37,000 these rumors. Oh, we. 177 00:10:37,000 --> 00:10:38,960 Did. No, we can. 178 00:10:39,280 --> 00:10:41,880 We didn't come to question, we came to kidnap him. 179 00:10:42,240 --> 00:10:44,600 Go ahead, he would tell us. Yeah, forgive us, sweet. 180 00:10:44,920 --> 00:10:46,920 We have no one else on our side, so we can't. 181 00:10:47,000 --> 00:10:49,320 It's hard for us to try. Are you sounds? 182 00:10:49,360 --> 00:10:50,360 Like we're in this toy. Though. 183 00:10:50,360 --> 00:10:53,320 So then are you trying to go see Thalamra? 184 00:10:53,680 --> 00:10:56,400 Yeah. More of like Ransom her son. 185 00:10:56,680 --> 00:10:58,720 Yeah, it'll probably kill her. But it's easier. 186 00:10:58,960 --> 00:11:00,840 Or probably kill. Both of them, honestly. 187 00:11:01,000 --> 00:11:03,560 Yeah, probably 2. I'm gonna kind of thing. 188 00:11:03,960 --> 00:11:06,600 I'm gonna be quite honest, I think, yeah, I think our goals 189 00:11:06,600 --> 00:11:09,280 are kind of aligned here. Do you mind if I come with you? 190 00:11:09,280 --> 00:11:10,600 Yeah. Actually, I mean, yeah, but 191 00:11:10,600 --> 00:11:14,040 actually I only have, I only have the one cot, so you have to 192 00:11:14,120 --> 00:11:16,000 sleep with me. Are you going to stab us on the 193 00:11:16,000 --> 00:11:18,200 back though? Because whenever. 194 00:11:18,200 --> 00:11:20,680 We've shared that cot. You sleep on the. 195 00:11:20,680 --> 00:11:23,080 Floor. No, I wasn't disintended there. 196 00:11:23,480 --> 00:11:25,200 You told me we could sleep. On the cot together. 197 00:11:25,520 --> 00:11:27,120 But I know. But look at her. 198 00:11:28,280 --> 00:11:30,800 Look at you. Settle your disputes elsewhere. 202 00:11:42,920 --> 00:11:44,400 Sorry, they're trying to start a church. 203 00:11:44,720 --> 00:11:45,400 It's a. It's a. 204 00:11:46,280 --> 00:11:49,520 Whole thing. Trying to By the way, you owe me 205 00:11:49,680 --> 00:11:53,960 bag taxes for two weeks, baptized for two weeks. 206 00:11:54,480 --> 00:11:57,600 No, I. Have a question? 207 00:11:57,600 --> 00:12:00,520 I have a question for you, lady. My heart belongs to the 208 00:12:00,520 --> 00:12:02,600 succubus. Yes, of course, I I I quite 209 00:12:02,600 --> 00:12:04,360 understand. What are you doing up here? 210 00:12:04,360 --> 00:12:06,560 You're supposed to be in a Vernus. 211 00:12:06,960 --> 00:12:09,720 Well, I've I've just told you I was stationed outside the city. 212 00:12:10,040 --> 00:12:13,480 Yeah, she didn't get drug in. Stationed outside Whaley City. 213 00:12:14,040 --> 00:12:15,520 I was stationed boulders. Gate. 214 00:12:15,880 --> 00:12:19,960 No, outside of I ways outside of El Terrell and next thing I know 215 00:12:19,960 --> 00:12:23,120 the city's next thing I know the city is disappearing beneath the 216 00:12:23,120 --> 00:12:27,240 earth. I went to investigate, but you 217 00:12:27,240 --> 00:12:29,560 know just a big crater in the earth was all that was there. 218 00:12:29,880 --> 00:12:33,080 I did manage to find a group of refugees and I managed to get 219 00:12:33,080 --> 00:12:38,440 them here to Boulders Gate safely before the Flaming Fists 220 00:12:38,440 --> 00:12:44,400 ended up closing the place off. However, you know, upon 221 00:12:45,400 --> 00:12:49,080 investigating a bit more into Baldur's Gate, I came across 222 00:12:49,080 --> 00:12:54,440 some quite villainous, if I do dare so say Flaming Fists. 223 00:12:55,280 --> 00:13:01,520 They did try and, well, mug me or take me off or lock me up 224 00:13:01,520 --> 00:13:03,040 somewhere I suppose. I don't know. 225 00:13:03,280 --> 00:13:05,320 Everybody needs someone to blame these days. 226 00:13:05,320 --> 00:13:07,640 I guess. I managed to. 227 00:13:07,920 --> 00:13:12,240 I managed to get away and since I've been hiding who I was ever 228 00:13:12,240 --> 00:13:15,360 since. I feel Amrix like start to stir 229 00:13:15,360 --> 00:13:18,040 awake so I give him a nice solid punch to the jaw to knock him 230 00:13:18,040 --> 00:13:24,200 back out. The the Mortal Kombat camera 231 00:13:24,200 --> 00:13:27,720 like zooms in an X-ray that says jaw fractures into 50 different 232 00:13:27,720 --> 00:13:29,960 pieces. I I added that sound effect to 233 00:13:29,960 --> 00:13:37,160 the last episode. So little lady, I, I think 234 00:13:37,160 --> 00:13:39,760 you'll be safe with us. Not that you need protecting, 235 00:13:39,800 --> 00:13:43,200 but we'll, we'll do what we can to make sure you're OK. 236 00:13:43,400 --> 00:13:45,080 Well. Actually, the little Mama, if 237 00:13:45,080 --> 00:13:48,080 you want to just protect me, you know, I'll, I'll be, I'll be 238 00:13:48,080 --> 00:13:49,400 happy for it. But. 239 00:13:49,520 --> 00:13:51,480 But I quite like that attitude a bit better. 240 00:13:51,480 --> 00:13:54,720 I'm not looking for protection, I'm just here to investigate, 241 00:13:54,720 --> 00:13:56,960 same as you are. But for the Draven, I just, you 242 00:13:57,160 --> 00:13:58,960 know, the more protection I get, you know? 243 00:13:59,120 --> 00:14:00,840 You more perhaps? Seen a woman I. 244 00:14:00,920 --> 00:14:03,640 Understand that but I I wasn't more than infected for. 245 00:14:03,640 --> 00:14:05,320 You, yeah, but at least she'll protect you. 246 00:14:05,320 --> 00:14:08,280 And then you protect me. I don't, but I'm supposed to 247 00:14:08,280 --> 00:14:09,960 protect, do you? Have like a warehouse or? 248 00:14:09,960 --> 00:14:11,480 Somewhere. Hurting my Bueno open. 249 00:14:11,480 --> 00:14:12,800 This guy think? It hurt. 250 00:14:14,080 --> 00:14:17,320 Well, I'm afraid not. I don't exactly have a ton of 251 00:14:17,320 --> 00:14:21,000 connections around this place. Let's find a nice dark place. 252 00:14:21,360 --> 00:14:26,040 I got you guys press the digitation to build a warehouse 253 00:14:26,040 --> 00:14:27,080 around us. I mean. 254 00:14:28,160 --> 00:14:32,000 Dang quiet. That's quite extending the 255 00:14:32,000 --> 00:14:34,280 limitations of tested dissipations. 256 00:14:34,600 --> 00:14:37,240 Isn't I believe by 5 foot radius 5? 257 00:14:37,280 --> 00:14:40,720 Square foot radius 15. And we're just in a tool shed. 258 00:14:41,400 --> 00:14:44,760 My shoulders would stick out the sides. 259 00:14:48,280 --> 00:14:50,240 With more like woodshed, we're going to panel it. 260 00:14:50,800 --> 00:14:52,360 It's like I'm hiding behind a tree. 261 00:14:55,200 --> 00:14:56,680 Right. Hard to help, OK. 262 00:15:01,240 --> 00:15:05,920 As much as I, as much as I quite appreciate that, why don't we 263 00:15:05,920 --> 00:15:11,320 just have him take us up into the upper city and then we 264 00:15:11,320 --> 00:15:13,720 could. We got the way for him to wake 265 00:15:13,720 --> 00:15:17,200 up then. Yeah, he can't really talk 266 00:15:17,200 --> 00:15:19,040 anymore either cuz. We broke. 267 00:15:19,720 --> 00:15:21,080 I might have broke his jaw. He. 268 00:15:21,240 --> 00:15:23,480 Might have liquefied his jaw a little bit, yeah. 269 00:15:24,440 --> 00:15:26,680 Wait, we can play it. We're we're. 270 00:15:26,680 --> 00:15:29,720 Walking to the. Upper City and he's injured, so 271 00:15:29,720 --> 00:15:32,680 we got to take her to his villa. And we're his saviors. 272 00:15:32,960 --> 00:15:38,720 Yeah, yeah, if I may, I don't think he's quite in the position 273 00:15:38,880 --> 00:15:43,720 to really argue so. We could have I can command him. 274 00:15:44,080 --> 00:15:47,200 Well, we could. We could just tell him to do it 275 00:15:47,200 --> 00:15:49,440 or we kill him. I'm sure he wouldn't argue much 276 00:15:49,440 --> 00:15:50,480 against that. A. 277 00:15:50,640 --> 00:15:53,520 Old finger in the butt. These Upper City lots are 278 00:15:53,520 --> 00:15:55,960 usually quite wimpy when it comes to that sort of thing. 279 00:15:56,120 --> 00:15:57,560 Let's. Check his oil. 280 00:15:57,920 --> 00:16:01,440 I sent him back down and he falls over because he's still 281 00:16:01,440 --> 00:16:02,600 knocked out. I don't know how to delete them, 555 00:30:39,920 --> 00:30:41,640 I'm just going to cross out their names. 556 00:30:42,000 --> 00:30:44,080 Fair enough. What about a long sword? 557 00:30:44,400 --> 00:30:49,440 Just a regular old long sword. Probably 5 gold, 5 gold. 5 gold. 558 00:30:50,240 --> 00:30:52,440 They're not actually worth that much, but I'll give you 5 gold 559 00:30:52,440 --> 00:30:54,400 for. Them I appreciate it 35. 560 00:30:55,400 --> 00:30:58,920 Why is it so funny? It's not. 561 00:30:59,200 --> 00:31:01,440 We're just laughing with you. It's so yummy. 564 00:31:10,160 --> 00:31:12,320 Whenever you're done with you never. 565 00:31:13,480 --> 00:31:17,640 I have questions and but not but it's just whenever go. 566 00:31:18,080 --> 00:31:23,280 Ahead. OK I so I have 1/4 of staff that 567 00:31:23,280 --> 00:31:26,880 I never use. OK I don't think it's +2 but I 568 00:31:26,880 --> 00:31:28,680 don't. I honestly have no idea how to 569 00:31:28,680 --> 00:31:30,200 tell. It's probably just a normal 570 00:31:30,200 --> 00:31:33,000 quarter stuff. I'd like to sell it then if I 571 00:31:33,000 --> 00:31:35,440 said it was how many gold? 5 gold, All right. 572 00:31:36,160 --> 00:31:39,600 And then I have a rapier that I also never use. 573 00:31:40,200 --> 00:31:44,200 Also 5 gold any like normal weapons other than like a great 574 00:31:44,200 --> 00:31:46,680 sword I suppose would be 5 gold. The Great sword will be 10 gold. 575 00:31:47,440 --> 00:31:51,400 OK, 10 the. Armor Armor pieces. 576 00:31:52,200 --> 00:31:56,800 Armor pieces will be 1015 and 20 depending if it's like medium or 577 00:31:56,800 --> 00:32:00,200 heavy. OK, I I don't know. 578 00:32:00,400 --> 00:32:04,080 I don't know what I've picked up and what I haven't, so I'm 579 00:32:04,080 --> 00:32:08,600 assuming. That's that would be, that's my 580 00:32:09,200 --> 00:32:11,120 you. You probably haven't picked 581 00:32:11,120 --> 00:32:12,720 anything up. Honestly, I think everyone else 582 00:32:12,720 --> 00:32:14,240 has been picking up most of the stuff for you. 583 00:32:15,120 --> 00:32:17,280 I see you have two potions of fire breath. 584 00:32:17,640 --> 00:32:20,040 Yeah. So how much would those be 585 00:32:20,040 --> 00:32:23,240 worth? While you could also use them, 586 00:32:23,240 --> 00:32:28,680 it's 46 damage per fire breath so and there's no accuracy check 587 00:32:28,880 --> 00:32:32,960 for it, it's a saving throw. OK, Yeah, no, I'll hang on to. 588 00:32:32,960 --> 00:32:37,440 Those are the things that I might have that I really don't 589 00:32:37,440 --> 00:32:40,560 need. Let's see, we have the flail. 590 00:32:40,560 --> 00:32:43,120 I mean, there's a holy. I wanna hang on to the flail, 591 00:32:43,440 --> 00:32:45,160 obviously. Yeah, yeah, the flails. 592 00:32:45,360 --> 00:32:47,720 Is the holy symbol by chance? Like. 593 00:32:47,960 --> 00:32:51,040 I is that like my token? Oh hey, get rid of it. 594 00:32:51,040 --> 00:32:53,480 Yeah. For me, it's the it's the 595 00:32:53,560 --> 00:32:55,320 there's lacrosse that I keep around my neck. 596 00:32:55,680 --> 00:32:57,920 Yeah, yeah, get. Rid of your holy symbol, see 597 00:32:57,920 --> 00:33:01,800 what happens. So I've broken my oath, 598 00:33:02,240 --> 00:33:05,520 shouldn't I trade it out for something not so holy oath 599 00:33:05,640 --> 00:33:07,600 break? I mean, I don't have to If it's 600 00:33:07,600 --> 00:33:10,560 just, if it's just some bling, I'll wear it. 601 00:33:10,560 --> 00:33:14,400 I don't care. I've got some ice on my wrist. 602 00:33:14,640 --> 00:33:16,400 That's up to you. Most of the other most of the 603 00:33:16,400 --> 00:33:20,800 stuff in here is just like the like standard explorers pack 604 00:33:20,800 --> 00:33:22,720 stuff that you have. OK. 605 00:33:22,840 --> 00:33:24,880 Yeah. And obviously. 606 00:33:25,040 --> 00:33:27,360 Unless you wanted to sell. Unless you wanted to sell 607 00:33:27,360 --> 00:33:28,280 scrolls. I don't know. 608 00:33:28,280 --> 00:33:30,240 You haven't put any scrolls in your inventory though. 609 00:33:30,640 --> 00:33:34,280 I'm buying a plus thing. I don't know how to put things 610 00:33:34,280 --> 00:33:37,360 in my hand. I had a notebook that I wrote 611 00:33:37,360 --> 00:33:40,160 down which scrolls I wanted. Where did I put it? 612 00:33:41,200 --> 00:33:43,680 It wasn't a lot of scrolls. It was like 4 or five. 613 00:33:43,960 --> 00:33:45,920 I can't find it, so I'm not going to make you do that. 614 00:33:46,600 --> 00:33:48,480 Well, if you find it, I can do it. 615 00:33:49,000 --> 00:33:52,040 And I can do that later. Oh, what's your question? 616 00:33:53,440 --> 00:33:56,560 If you throw the hand decks, do you throw it with and you do you 617 00:33:56,560 --> 00:33:59,440 add your decks or does it keep strength with it because it's a, 618 00:33:59,600 --> 00:34:02,480 it's a strength weapon. But if you throw it, yeah, you'd 619 00:34:02,560 --> 00:34:04,880 think it'd be with decks. I guess that'd be up to you. 620 00:34:05,120 --> 00:34:09,800 Whatever you want. I think it just I don't know. 621 00:34:09,920 --> 00:34:13,520 Is there even damage modifiers for throwing weapons? 622 00:34:13,960 --> 00:34:17,199 Damage modifiers. That's what it is that that's 623 00:34:17,199 --> 00:34:20,639 like when it takes your daggers, club short Spears, Spears, 624 00:34:20,639 --> 00:34:23,120 darts, javelins, throwing axes, light hammers, Trident, 625 00:34:23,120 --> 00:34:25,280 shurikens, and Nets are thrown weapons. 626 00:34:25,280 --> 00:34:28,400 The wielder applies his or her strength modifier to the damage 627 00:34:28,400 --> 00:34:30,320 delt. So it's strength no matter what, 628 00:34:30,320 --> 00:34:31,639 even if it's thrown. For thrown. 629 00:34:31,639 --> 00:34:33,320 For thrown weapons, yeah. OK, that's fine. 630 00:34:33,320 --> 00:34:34,440 Just checking. Yep. 631 00:34:35,080 --> 00:34:39,880 Well, I bought a 1 + 1 hand axe. OK, 200 gold. 632 00:34:40,440 --> 00:34:42,400 OK, OK. Look. 633 00:34:42,719 --> 00:34:46,400 How much would my holy symbol be worth by chance? 634 00:34:49,159 --> 00:34:53,159 Probably base nothing so. What is your holy symbol? 635 00:34:53,760 --> 00:34:55,880 I have no idea how do I look it up. 636 00:34:56,239 --> 00:34:58,280 Make something up. It's it's your holy symbol. 637 00:34:58,280 --> 00:34:58,920 What? Make it up. 638 00:34:59,280 --> 00:35:06,160 It's a £12 gold cross. It's. 12 LB gold sauce. 639 00:35:08,600 --> 00:35:09,880 No, no. It could be something 640 00:35:09,880 --> 00:35:11,560 reasonable. It could be like a gold cross. 641 00:35:11,560 --> 00:35:13,720 Obviously it's not going to weigh 12 lbs, but. 642 00:35:14,560 --> 00:35:19,440 That would be 5500 gold if it's a 12,000 gold, so it's a £12 643 00:35:19,440 --> 00:35:23,080 gold cross. As much as I would love that, I 644 00:35:23,080 --> 00:35:25,880 doubt I was doing any type of battle with a. # gold. 645 00:35:26,280 --> 00:35:27,920 Hanging on. No, it's your holy, so if you 646 00:35:27,920 --> 00:35:31,240 want to sell your holy symbol, it means a lot to you. 5500 gold 647 00:35:31,240 --> 00:35:33,240 seems reasonable, so I'll tempt you. 648 00:35:33,360 --> 00:35:36,320 Do it. Do it forever. 649 00:35:36,320 --> 00:35:37,400 Several. Times. 650 00:35:38,960 --> 00:35:43,160 Forever sever your ties with the gods with the God that you've 651 00:35:43,360 --> 00:35:48,800 like become a paladin for. Wait, I've broken my oath. 652 00:35:48,960 --> 00:35:51,960 Wouldn't that mess with that? No, if you've broken your oath 653 00:35:51,960 --> 00:35:54,880 then like you can still reclaim redeem yourself. 654 00:35:54,880 --> 00:35:56,960 But if you saw your holy symbol, there's no redeeming you. 655 00:35:56,960 --> 00:36:01,200 You're stuck as an oath breaker. OK, I'll hang on to it for a 656 00:36:01,200 --> 00:36:02,280 while. That's fine. 657 00:36:02,800 --> 00:36:04,120 At least you make it a little harder. 658 00:36:04,480 --> 00:36:09,320 Yeah, it's fine. I can hang on to that. 5500 659 00:36:09,320 --> 00:36:12,240 gold. That's a lot I'm not that 660 00:36:12,240 --> 00:36:13,920 worried about. Basically, Thalamera Van Thamper 857 00:47:17,800 --> 00:47:21,040 is a cunning, devil worshipping beast of a woman and her late 858 00:47:21,040 --> 00:47:26,360 60s who can stare down a held hound without flinching. 859 00:47:26,720 --> 00:47:30,880 She is barrel bodied with strong hands and forearms that speak to 860 00:47:30,880 --> 00:47:33,240 her beginnings as a manual laborer. 861 00:47:33,400 --> 00:47:35,400 You guys have seen her picture. So you I'm sure you can 862 00:47:35,680 --> 00:47:37,200 understand what that means. Yeah. 863 00:47:39,000 --> 00:47:42,560 Her youth was spent in this Cellars and sewers of Baldur's 864 00:47:42,560 --> 00:47:45,440 Gate, repairing pipes and cleaning out the city's filth. 865 00:47:45,760 --> 00:47:49,880 The Alhambra rose from such lowly work to become the 866 00:47:50,280 --> 00:47:53,280 minister of the city's sewers and waterworks. 867 00:47:53,480 --> 00:47:57,080 She now she dresses in finery that suits her station as a Duke 868 00:47:57,080 --> 00:47:59,360 of Baldur's Gate. The Lambra orchestrated the 869 00:47:59,360 --> 00:48:02,960 disappearance of Grand Duke Alder Ravenguard to fulfill her 870 00:48:02,960 --> 00:48:06,600 ultimate goal of becoming the new Grand Duke of Baldur's Gate. 871 00:48:07,200 --> 00:48:10,920 If you remember, Alder Ravenguard actually was 872 00:48:10,920 --> 00:48:14,520 convinced to go to El Terrell and shortly after his visit 873 00:48:14,520 --> 00:48:16,960 there, El Terrell was pulled into a Vernus. 874 00:48:16,960 --> 00:48:20,120 So older Raven Guard is missing currently and has been for a 875 00:48:20,120 --> 00:48:21,840 long time, which is why the flaming fish are all over the 876 00:48:21,840 --> 00:48:24,320 place because he used to basically direct them and tell 877 00:48:24,320 --> 00:48:28,280 them what to do. When not engaged in political 878 00:48:28,280 --> 00:48:31,960 matters, she conducts her most secret business in the dungeon 879 00:48:32,200 --> 00:48:36,200 complex below her villa. The Lamra is a widowed, is a 880 00:48:36,200 --> 00:48:39,600 widow three times over, and each of her dead husband's was kind 881 00:48:39,600 --> 00:48:45,040 enough to give her a son. Her oldest boy, Eugene, is a 882 00:48:45,040 --> 00:48:53,680 pale Solon recluse in his 40s. A veritable plan he uses. 883 00:48:53,680 --> 00:48:56,720 Imps. To spy on his brothers Amrik and 884 00:48:57,200 --> 00:49:01,360 Domique. Amrik and Domique and Domique 885 00:49:01,360 --> 00:49:09,000 and Eugene are are canonically brothers now, of course. 886 00:49:09,440 --> 00:49:12,720 Hey Domique, first of all, I'm sorry. 887 00:49:12,800 --> 00:49:16,000 Eugene resents both of his brothers. 888 00:49:16,360 --> 00:49:20,200 Amrik for being the mother's favorite and Domique for being a 889 00:49:20,200 --> 00:49:24,840 monstrous adult. You must Eugene's real. 890 00:49:24,840 --> 00:49:27,240 Problem is that. His mother doesn't see him as 891 00:49:27,240 --> 00:49:31,080 her successor despite being the oldest and his grooming amrich 892 00:49:31,080 --> 00:49:34,160 to fill that role. Not the other grooming but like 893 00:49:34,160 --> 00:49:37,080 the the OK time. Yeah, not the Reddit grooming. 894 00:49:37,320 --> 00:49:38,520 It's still not. OK. 895 00:49:38,880 --> 00:49:40,320 Despite. His jealousy. 896 00:49:40,840 --> 00:49:45,480 Eugene would never visit harm upon Amrich for fear of 897 00:49:45,480 --> 00:49:49,680 incurring his mother's wrath. Domique is a different matter as 898 00:49:49,680 --> 00:49:53,440 it's been made abundantly clear that Thalamra would disown him 899 00:49:53,440 --> 00:49:56,680 Had she not agreed to the dying wish of her third husband to 900 00:49:56,680 --> 00:50:00,600 look after Domique despite his countless imperfections 901 00:50:01,000 --> 00:50:04,200 conditions he's got. A condition he's kind. 902 00:50:04,200 --> 00:50:05,880 Of stupid. He's the last. 903 00:50:06,360 --> 00:50:09,920 The last member of.
